Both answers 1 and 3 could be correct. It is okay to not be able to eat everything on your plate. Because of the culture everyone from a 2 year old child to an adult will have their plates filled with the same amount of food and handed to them. It’s okay to say “This food has beaten me” and hand the plate back to the host with the remaining food. It will be handed out to others or stored for the next meal. At feasts there is more food given to you than you can eat so that you can take some home with you.
